English Language - Talk about Food and Drink (Elementary level)

This English grammar and vocabulary course teaches you how to talk about food and drink. We go over singular and plural nouns and study the difference between countable and uncountable nouns. We explain how to form positive and negative questions, form plural nouns by adding 's' or 'es' and form sentences related to food. We also show you how to answer questions using the verb 'to be' and more, so sign up to polish your English speaking skills.

This English course takes you through the grammatical rules governing countable and uncountable nouns in singular and plural forms and then relates these useful rules to conversations about food and drink. We explain how to use articles and collocations with nouns. We also break down how to form simple ‘question and answer’ sentences using singular and plural nouns. The course also explores the use of ‘measurement nouns’ in phrases regarding food using the suffixes 's' and 'es'.
The course then shows you when to use the indefinite adjectives 'some' and 'any' in sentences that include nouns describing food. We teach you how to use numbers relating to quantity as well as how and when to use quantifiers (like ‘a few’) to discuss food.
